🎞️ BERLIN Gallery is LIVE!
Together with Simas Bernotas, we just finished the last edits to the gallery from Summit XI in Berlin – a round of green tea for everyone!
In terms of content, our ability to reflect the flow of time, and our ambition to cast the spotlight on the conference's partners, this is our best work so far – thanks entirely to the effort and the commitment of Simas, who was there from the first coffees in the yard to the last drinks on the roof; and then again, for the first coffees the next morning. Come another year, all of us will be a little different – but this gallery, it will always be a snapshot of who we were, when we came together in the first week of June, in the city of Berlin.
When I look at these photos, beyond all the sessions and the conversations captured there, I see something bigger shining through: a warm-hearted community from dozens of different countries, fully engaged. Every person is beautiful in their own right, but the real beauty is in how you guys connect with each other – and how the emotions spark, whenever you interact. Please never change! ❤️
Games Industry Law Summit XI Gallery
As they say, it takes a village: the success of the Berlin edition rests on the shoulders of the hard work, and the genuine passion, of all the people who have contributed to the conference – the community board, the session leads and all the speakers; the catering and the hotel teams; the operations, construction and logistics crew on-site; and the professionals who worked with us on a broad range of projects, from the key art (drawn in Montreal, refined in San Diego) to the jingle (composed in Barcelona) to the custom notebooks (printed in Riga) and to the porcelain cups (made in Berlin).
A separate thank-you goes to all the firms who supported this event as the conference's partners: every third euro of the event's budget is there because you decided that such a community conference is worth it. We appreciate this!
I look forward to seeing you this October at Summit On Tour IV (one of the hotels is already sold out, as expected) – and then, at Summit XII in June of next year.
